As Wolverhampton based Pennine Prostamp goes from strength to strength, they are pleased to announce that they have successfully won a contract with a new client in the North of England.  The new contract has seen the precision presswork firm produce link bars for a company that produces machinery for the glass manufacturing industry.

The client previously had the parts laser cut, but Pennine Prostamp where able to complete the work to impressively high standards with precision engineering equipment.  In particular, the client required the parts to feature parallel sided holes, 100% of the material thickness, which in pressed metal terms is very difficult to achieve.

Martin Hallam, Operations Manager, explained: “We have developed specialist tooling to satisfy the customer’s requirements exactly and to considerably improve our range of abilities and competencies as a company.  It has involved a lengthy development process, but the tooling we have created is unique and most importantly, allows us to continue our excellent reputation for meeting our customer’s demands.”

The development of such specialised tooling has also enabled them to look to the future and be fully prepared to continue producing work for their new Northern based client.  Martin Hallam added: “We have developed a very good relationship with our new client and feel that Pennine Prostamp are at the right stage of development to start spreading our wings and acquiring further new contracts.  As a firm we are incredibly busy but, equally, still have the capacity to take on new clients.”

Established by owner, Graham Hobbs in January 2010, to supply parent firm Pennine Industrial Equipment, Pennine Prostamp has already more than doubled in size.  They have successfully supplied high precision chain links for chain conveyors for the glass manufacturing industry as well as working closely with assembly suppliers to the aerospace industry and niche pressings sectors.

Operating to stringent quality procedures, with full traceability and a commitment to the highest levels of customer service and technical support has certainly proven to be highly successful for Pennine Prostamp.  Furthermore, a dedication to investing in the very best of equipment and maintaining the versatility to develop tools to meet the exact requirements of its customers, is also securing a highly prosperous future for the firm.
