Picture perfect contract for versatile presswork company

With an already highly successful core area of the business and the acquisition of new contracts to supply the glass manufacturing industry, Pennine Prostamp are diversifying their activities in the development of a new project.

The firm are working in conjunction with another Midlands based company who have developed a method of coating metal to produce antique plaques.  The company approached Pennine Prostamp to add a radius and fixing hole to the four corners of the plaques.

Martin Hallam, Operations Manager, explained: “This project does not fall within our core area of business, but we are versatile enough as a company to fulfil these sorts of requirements.  We have developed a tool to ensure that the work is completed to the highest standard.  The coating that has been developed is unique and it is our part of the project to ensure that the plaques are made customer safe.”  Martin added: “As a company we welcome the opportunity to put our expertise into action in these types of projects.”  The plaques are being targeted at American and UK markets for the domestic market as memorabilia and for household decorative purposes.

Martin explained: “There is a demand for this type of product, and working with our client, we wish them every success in selling this unique range of decorative plaques”
